皆さんこんにちわ！これからの季節とてもいい空気で、爽やかなシーズンがいよいよ到来しましたね！スポーツの秋、登山の秋です！
そんな中、登山に行ってみたいと考えられている方も多いと思いますが、高尾山などのメジャーなところじゃなく、かといって、一泊が必須になるような本格的な登山でもなく、ちょうどいい登りごたえと眺望と、都心からのアクセスもよいところがあれば、行ってみたいなあと思われている方もいらっしゃるのではないでしょうか。
そんなときにおすすめのコースがありますので、魅力をお伝えしていければと思います！
まず、今回オススメさせていただくコースがタイトルにもある通り、
高水山・岩茸石山・棒ノ折山 登山になります！

まずはなんと行っても、歩きごたえです！
通常の登山ルートの場合は、三角形のような登山になることが多いです。
登山で山頂を目指して、山頂でお弁当を食べて、すぐに下ってくる という具合です。
これだと、楽しいのですが、ずっと体力負荷がかかり続けるので、自然を感じるという余裕を得にくいかなあというのが僕の印象です。
一方で、今回ご紹介するコースのような縦走（山と山の間を結ぶ稜線を歩くコース）であれば、三角形から、台形のような登山になります
一度ぐっっと登り、その後、いくつかの頂上を平行移動というと言い過ぎなのですが、そこまで高低差なくあるき続ける というようなコースです。
僕は、ある程度体力があったり、登山や自然をたっぷり感じたいという方には「縦走」ができるコースをおすすめします。
なにも、３０００ｍ級の山にならないと縦走ができないということはなく、東京都心から１時間程度でアクセスできるようなところにも素敵な縦走登山ルートはたくさんあります！
最後にはぐっと趣が変わって、下りの連続で膝のガクガクとの戦いですｗ
大きな岩が削られてできた切り立った崖の間を通り抜けて下山していきます
・所要時間
僕の記録では、
JR青梅線 軍畑駅（イクサバタ）〜高水山〜岩茸石山〜棒ノ折山〜名栗湖で
約７時間半かかっています。
距離は１１．３km、上り１０７７ｍ、下り９９４ｍのコースとなっています。
一日歩きっぱなしで、後半は膝もがくがくになるくらいの、歩きごたえのあるコースです！
・装備例
このコースでは、距離時間ともに長いので、途中でバテてしまわないようにしっかり炭水化物を吸収できるように食料は多めに持っていきましょう。
また、水分も十分に持っていかれることをおすすめします。
真夏で僕は２リットルで足りました。１リットルだと季節問わず流石に難しい印象です。
僕が真夏に行った際の装備がこんな感じです。
・アクセス
スタート地点はJR青梅線の軍畑駅になります！ここから登山道へ向けて出発です。
・気をつけるべき点
約７．５時間の長丁場になります。時間と体力と食料については、余裕を持って計画をされてください。
一度入山すると、エスケープすることも大変なので、体調が優れないときには、延期を検討されることをおすすめいたします。
